Ozeki co. is going to sell a limited amount of “Premium Quality Daiginjo sake Choju 720ml” that was awarded a gold prize by Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai (Annual Japan Sake Awards) held in the first year of the Reiwa era (2019).
We will announce this with bottle banners on the products when we ship to areas where the sake is being sold.
[About the product]
“Premium Quality Daiginjo sake Choju 720ml” is made from rice sourced from the Yamada nishiki toku-A district in Hyogo and is of a 35% polishing rate.
This rice (35% polished Yamada nishiki) is very delicate, therefore we carefully produce this sake by making rice malt by hand while managing the time of water absorption to the second.
Through the process of melting rice slowly at a very low heat during fermentation, this Daiginjo sake carries a very delicate aroma and an evenly refined flavor.
It has been awarded gold prizes for 16 years since 2003 which can be attributed to our manufacturing quality and technology.
